Use our training and then ask yourself two questions.
- Will this training make me more productive and save me time. What is likely to be the cumulative value of my time-savings and increased productivity? How does this compare to the total cost of the training, which is what you pay us for it plus your own labor costs in taking the training.
Comments: Most casual users report they are earning an ROI on their investment in the training, and their time, of several hundred percent. Heavy users report very high ROI’s in the thousands of percent. Time-saving and increased productivity are the keys to higher standards of living and higher wages and profits.
- Is there another training resource I could use that would be more cost effective when I factor in the value of my time?
The real key is your time. There are many training resources available today. Some are “free”. After all there isn’t anything in any training that probably isn’t in a book for Dummies or the Help section of the software. But, how efficient and easy to use is it? How much of your time does it consume, and what is the value of that time to you?
We believe our training is more cost effective than any other source of training even if that training were “free” to you when you factor in your time.
Testimonial of Dr. Craig Hane, our CEO.
I am what I would describe as an occasional user of Excel. I can usually do what I need to do and have learned it over the years from a variety of “free” sources.
Recently, I took the Excel 1 training course. I was surprised to learn some things I didn’t know, and didn’t know I didn’t know. There are a few things have already made me for more proficient and have saved me a significant amount of time. My biggest investment in training is my own time. I have found that the two hours I spent training and reviewing have already resulted in significantly more time-savings, and I only use Excel occasionally.
I also believe that the highest value of the training, long term, will be in its availability as a Job Aid. Recently I was sent a spreadsheet from a colleague. I wanted to make some changes based on some new things I had learned from the training, but I had already forgotten the details of how to do it. I simply went back to the appropriate Module and reviewed for about five minutes. Then, I easily and quickly made the changes. Before, it would have taken me a lot of time, or more likely, I would just have given up and not made the changes.
